NXTcomm08 delivered on the promise to serve as the epicenter of the communications industry; nearly 500 exhibitors issued 605 announcements and press releases prior to and during this year’s show, generating nearly 2,000 media hits with circulation of more than 37 million and counting!

Thousands of industry professionals heard AT&T’s Randall Stephenson, Telstra’s Sol Trujillo, Verizon’s Denny Strigl, Sprint Nextel’s Dan Hesse, Infinera’s Jagdeep Singh, Sun Microsystems’ Scott McNealy and Survivor Producer Mark Burnett provide commentary on the future of communications and entertainment as part of NXTcomm08 keynotes. Randall Stephenson and other attendees from AT&T also toured the NXTcomm show floor and met with numerous exhibitors.

The 2009 show is scheduled for June 8-11 in Chicago’s McCormick Place. While continuing to push industry dialogue toward topics like entertainment and content, NXTcomm09 will remain focused on showcasing network-enabled voice, video and data from the perspectives of both business and technology.
