Rethinking "Neutrality" As an Approach to Reasonable Network Management |
In light of the rising tide of the Internet "exaflood," broadband industry experts and government officials will discuss reasonable network management practices for wireline broadband networks. The panel will cover such topics as: traffic management challenges facing network engineers, which were the focus of the FCC's field hearings at Stanford University and Harvard Law School; marketplace developments, including the growth and deployment of different network architectures for wireline networks capable of delivering the highest-quality HD video programming, high-speed Internet access and a suite of other fully integrated interactive programming services; and recent and future regulatory developments affecting the deployment and management of these networks. |
