Business IPTV: Training and Communications Made Easy

Wednesday, June 18 • 10:30 AM - 10:50 AM • Room S111

Increased competition has made top-notch customer service a vital factor in today’s business. To stay ahead, companies can't rely on inefficient, old-school methods of training employees. Instead, they need a flexible training program that monitors employee compliance and manages both the content and the tracking of information, whether to individuals, small groups, or large audiences. And in today's privacy-conscious, highly regulated world, companies want to validate that the training was received and confirm which individuals actually viewed it.

Business IPTV is emerging as a way to manage the distribution of information to one site or multiple locations through live video broadcasts or programs delivered for local on-demand playback.

In this session, attendees will learn how to use business IPTV to swiftly deliver effective training to all audiences via integrated enterprise multimedia services—and give companies the control and corporate visibility needed for regulatory compliance and employee development. Attendees will hear how leading supermarket chain, Safeway, is using their business IPTV to deliver programming directly to the local stores, allowing managers to effectively train employees, maximize employee productivity and lower costs.
