Consumer Freedom: On-Demand Content – Customized, Bundled and Accessible Anywhere

Thursday, June 19 • 12:10 PM - 12:30 PM • Room S111

In the evolving multimedia content world, the service provider’s role is morphing to meet changing consumer patterns, including "content shifting." There is no "one size fits all" model for providing on-demand, ubiquitous access to customized content (including video). Mobility, user-generated content and direct access to content sources is resulting in a movement toward "pulled" content and highly-personalized consumption. Customers want a rich, customizable experience and service providers are challenged to provide bundles and new technology integration to meet that need. The "freedom of choice" movement — what content consumers access, how they access, when they access — continue to proliferate. How do we harness the opportunity?
